We are unfortunately now regulars in A&E, sometimes the care is fantastic others it is very slow, especially when A&E is bursting at the seams and the poor staff are run ragged.
My father is a vulnerable cancer patient, so we were very kindly put in a cubicle to wait out turn. The cupboards were falling apart, 1 of which had a screw, protruding, uncovered on the floor.
My father had to have a bag of IV fluids and the nurse assigned to this "Monique" on night shift 5/4/19 was so kind, caring and considerate took us to a room with a bed and nothing was too much trouble.
Thank you very much Monique.
Friendly staff.
Clean and tidy.
Everyone is very friendly.
We found all staff to be professional, polite and caring at all times. At the time of writing we had been in the A&E unit for 7 hours.
My mother underwent a number of tests and examinations. These tests were always carefully explained.
Karen Evans Monzon and Dean were particularly helpful and attentive always answering requests (toilets etc) in a timely fashion.
Thank you to all the team.
Kind and supportive staff if helped to reduce stress due to procedure.
Nursing staff friendly and helpful, even gave us a cup of tea.
The medial care seems very thorough.
Eddie is a great nurse he was lovely to my mum and made her laugh even though she was so ill. The paramedics were also lovely and caring.
Excellent care from the nurses and doctors very well looked after.
Everyone was so kind and helpful in every way.
